Today I get to review one of our favorite books and the DVD made based on the book. Originally a half-hour special on BBC on Christmas Day 2012 Room on the Broom is zippy and sweet and the perfect short video for kids of all ages.

We have loved Julia Donaldsons book Room on the Broom since the day we discovered it tucked away on a bookshelf in a cozy bookstore in Sydney AU. Narrated with verve by English comedianfilmmaker Simon Pegg the movie faithfully follows the books plot.
